An American actor, born on August 24, 1933, in Chicago, Illinois, USA, as Robert Richard Bloomfield. He studied at professional children's schools in New York City and Hollywood. He attended Columbia University, where he studied theater. His film debut was when he was 5 years old, and in 1948, he received a special certificate from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences for his acting and dancing role in April Showers (1948). He retired from acting in 1961 and devoted himself to the production of educational films. He is known for Space Master X-7 (1958), The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show (1956-1958), and The Babe Ruth Story (1948). He had one child with his wife, Aloha Wilkerson, but they got divorced. He passed away at the age of 40 from kidney failure on November 23, 1973, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
