He appeared in both silent and sound films. He is known for The Lost City (1935), The Flame Fighter (1925), and The Ridin' Fool (1931). He married twice but had no children. He died at the age of 68 from a heart attack on June 12, 1965, in Yucca Valley, California, USA.
