He was a Filipino actor, born on April 28, 1906, in Tacloban, Leyte, Philippines, as Pastor Lluviosa Robles. He went to high school and college in California, where he excelled in acting. He served in the US army during WWII in Australia, New Guinea, and the Philippines. After returning to the Philippines in the early 1960s, he started to produce, direct, and star in his own films. He is known for his roles in Across the Pacific (1942), Princesa sa Tawi-Tawi (1950), and Jungle Goddess (1948). He died at the age of 60 on July 4, 1970, in Manila, Philippines.
