An American film actress, born in Hollywood, Los Angeles, California, USA, on November 10, 1920. She won the Golden Boot Award in 1984, and in 1949, she won the TV Guide Award for Best Performance in a Children's Television Program. She appeared in Western films during the forties, and she studied in some convents in Belgium, Santiago College in Chile, and the Bishop’s School in La Jolla, California.
She studied acting and music to become a singer, then studied theater and found some opportunities on Broadway, then returned to Hollywood and signed with Universal. She was married seven times and had no children. Among her notable works are Range Renegades (1948), Shadow Valley (1947) and The Fighting Vigilantes (1947). She died in Dorset, England, UK on September 21, 1997, of cancer.
