Shaimaa Saied |
An American actor and radio writer, born in Albuquerque, New Mexico, USA, on May 14, 1910. He appeared in Westerns and low-budget B movies during the 1930s and 1940s, occasionally in extra roles as a gangster, chauffeur and henchman. He left his acting career in 1947 and later entered politics. In 1954 and 1956, he ran for the House of Representatives from Michigan. He married Margaret Schwamm (1945-1970), they had three children, and she remained with him until his death. Among his notable works are In Old Mexico (1938), Riders of the Northland (1942) and Tombstone: The Town Too Tough to Die (1942). He died in Ferndale, Michigan, USA, on January 31, 1970, of muscular dystrophy.
