An Argentine writer and director, born on April 8, 1908 in Mendoza, Argentina. He graduated from Columbia University in 1935. He married Faith Domergue and they had two children. He began his directing career in 1943, but his actual start was in the movie Pampa Bárbara in 1945. His notable work includes Hardly a Criminal (1949), My Six Convicts (1952), and The Death Ray of Dr. Mabuse (1964). He died on January 11, 1987, at the age of 78. |
