American actor, born in San Fernando, California, USA, on May 12, 1906, as Addison Owen Randall. He got married twice and had no children. He was an actor and singer on Broadway, before his cinematic appearance. Unfortunately, his films were not well received, and after doing a few musical Westerns, he continued to play lead roles in low-budget B westerns only as a cowboy. After his career quickly faltered, he moved into supporting and villainous roles. He attended Kemper Military College and School in Bonneville, Missouri. Among his most important works are Where the West Begins (1938), Riders of the Dawn (1937), Man's Country (1938), and Danger Valley (1937). He died in Canoga Park, Los Angeles, California, USA, on July 16, 1945, after falling from a horse and suffering a heart attack.
