An American actress, born in Columbia, South Carolina, USA, on October 20, 1913. She married writer Robert Carson (1938-1983). Her credits include Scotty of the Boy Scouts (1926), The White Lie (1918), The Godless Girl (1928), and The Florodora Girl (1930). She previously worked as a pre-shooting stunt double for Janet Gaynor. Irving committed suicide in Los Angeles, California, USA, on July 17, 1983,
