Shaimaa Saied |
An English actor, born in Hove, East Sussex, England, UK. He began working on stage in 1928 and worked on the London Stock Exchange before devoting himself to acting in theater, cinema, and television. Among his notable works are French Without Tears (1940), Laughter in Paradise (1951) and Break to Freedom (1953). He usually played the roles of scoundrels and con men, but many of his later roles were those of military officers in the Army, Air Force, or Royal Navy. He married Anita Arden (1949-1973), and she remained with him until his death. He died in England, UK on 30 July 1973 following a heart attack, aged 65.
