An Italian actor, who is best known worldwide for his work in spaghetti westerns, a term referring to films popular in the 1960s that deal with life in the American West, usually directed by Italian directors. His most notable work includes the role of Ringo in A Pistol for Ringo (1965), and he also appeared in Tenebrae (1982), The Leopard (1963), and Day of Anger (1967).
