An American actor born in Kingston, New York, United States. He was married to stage actress Jean Frontai. He participated in local stage productions as a vocalist and dancer when he was twelve years old. He attended a military academy for three years, despite his success, to pursue a career in vaudeville. He pursued dancing studies to support himself as a comedian and dancer in vaudeville, where he eventually found success and transitioned into full-time film work. Some of his most notable works include It’s a Mad Mad Mad Mad World (1963), Lightning Strikes Twice (1934), Seven Doors to Death (1944), and Three of a Kind (1936). He passed away in Laguna Beach, California, United States, from a heart attack at the age of 83.
