American actor, born in Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States. He married Myra Wilhelmina Lane and they had three children. He graduated from Princeton University and began his artistic career in 1938 working at the Pasadena Playhouse. Among his most notable works are I’ll See You in My Dreams (1951), The Eddie Cantor Story (1953), The Masked Marvel (1943), and Private Eyes (1953). He died in Santa Monica, California, United States, of heart failure at the age of 86. |
