Welsh actor, born in Newport, Monmouthshire, Wales. He studied at Merchant Taylors' School in Middlesex and began acting in 1948. In the mid-1950s, he started appearing in films and television, working extensively in television productions. His notable works include Tunes of Glory (1960), Doctor in Distress (1963), The Masque of the Red Death (1964), and Dead Man's Chest (1965). He died in London, England, United Kingdom, from appendicitis at the age of 50 in 1974.
