An American actress, born in Naponee, Nebraska, USA, on May 11, 1910, as Bernice Mae Graf. She got married twice and had three children. Among her most important works are Love Minus One (1972), Leave It to Beaver (1957), Wide Country (1962), and 87th Precinct (1961). She worked in film, television, and theater, playing supporting and minor roles. She was chosen Miss Nebraska in 1928 and became a Ziegfeld girl, beginning her artistic career on stage in New York. She made her screen debut in the early fifties. She died at the age of 85 in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA, on November 26, 1995.
