An American actor, born in New York City, New York, USA, on September 25, 1914, as Herbert Thomas Francis Eytorff. He married Helen Emily Truesdell in 1950. They had one child and got divorced in 1980. Among his most important works are Dear Brigitte (1965), Mission: Impossible (1966-1973), The Search for the Evil One (1967), and Lost in Space (1965). He was a prolific film and television actor who played supporting and minor roles. He began his artistic career in 1950 with television appearances and began appearing in films in the mid-1950s. He died at the age of 75 in Edmonds, Washington, USA, on June 23, 1989, of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS).
