An American singer and actress, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA, on October 11, 1912, as Elizabeth Noyes. She married football coach Milton Hand, and they had two children. Among her most important works are Singin' in the Rain (1952), I Love Lucy (1951-1957), Diminishing Returns (2016), and Cinderella (1965).
Betty is known for dubbing two of Debbie Reynolds' numbers in the 1952 movie Singin' in the Rain as well as for singing the song "Baby Mine" in the Disney movie Dumbo (1941), which was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Song. Betty Noyes began her career in 1938 with a singing trio, and in 1947, she was in a singing quartet. She also participated and sang in musicals. Betty Noyes passed away at the age of 75 in Los Angeles, California, USA, on December 24, 1987.
