An American actress and dancer, born on October 14, 1918, in San Diego, California, USA. At the age of 15, she started tab dancing. She played at Club Alabam with other black artists in Hollywood in 1939. She began appearing on cinema and TV screens in the early 1950s, and in the 1980s, she owned a studio where she taught tap dancing. She is known for Ghostbusters (1984), WarGames (1983), and Colors (1988). She died at the age of 78 on May 23, 1997, in Hollywood, California, USA.
