A British actress, born in England. She worked in theater, cinema, and television. Among her most important works are A Night to Remember (1958), Our Mutual Friend (1958), An Age of Kings (1960), and Persuasion (1960). Jill Dixon first appeared on stage when she was three years old and had worked on screen since 1954. She worked at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre in many classic Shakespearean roles.
