She was a Canadian actress, born in Edmonton, Canada. She is of Ukrainian descent. She launched her acting career at the age of 13 on stage, and later she started her radio career. She also worked as a model. She studied drama at the University of Alberta. Her debut was in The Quiet Woman (1951). Her notable works include Night Passage (1957), Drive a Crooked Road (1954), and The Violent Men (1955). Her last appearance was in an episode of The Wild Wild West (1966). She married several times and had three children. She died on July 27, 2019 in Hidden Hills, California, USA
