She also worked as a model. She studied drama at the University of Alberta. Her debut was in The Quiet Woman (1951). Her notable works include Night Passage (1957), Drive a Crooked Road (1954), and The Violent Men (1955). Her last appearance was in an episode of The Wild Wild West (1966). She married several times and had three children. She died on July 27, 2019 in Hidden Hills, California, USA
