An American director, former assistant director, and producer. He was born in Newfield, England, United Kingdom. He worked at Republic Pictures. After specializing in Westerns and criminal dramas, he went on to direct several episodes of Adventures of Superman (1953-1958). He produced low-budget movies, such as numerous average Westerns. Some of his most notable works include Scotland Yard Investigator (1945), The Trespasser (1947), Daredevils of the Clouds (1948), and Rose of the Yukon (1949). He passed away in Los Angeles, California, United States, on April 19, 1970, from cancer, at the age of 64.
