An American actor, born in St. Joseph, Missouri, USA, as Frank Marion Thomas. He married actress Mona Bruns (1920-1989). They had one child, and she remained with him until he died. Their marriage is among the longest marriages in Hollywood, as it lasted 69 years. Among his most important works are The Shadow (1954), Criminal Lawyer (1937), The Philco Television Playhouse (1948), and Behind the Headlines (1937).
Frank M. Thomas was a theater, cinema, and television actor. He lived until he was one hundred years old, as did his wife, Mona Bruns. He appeared for the first time on Broadway in 1914, and in cinema, he played many supporting roles from the thirties until the end of the sixties. He began his television work in the fifties, and in 1937, he appeared in 21 films. He died in Tujunga, California, USA, on November 25, 1989, of cardiac arrest.
