An American actor, born in Apponaug, Rhode Island, United States. He was married twice and had no children. He attended the United States Military Academy for two years. He began his stage career on Broadway in 1911 and continued until 1942. From the early 1930s, he was contracted with Warner Brothers for film appearances. Some of his most notable film works include Brigham Young (1940), The Swinging Pearl Mystery (1936), King of the Underworld (1939), and Show Kids (1935). He passed away in Los Angeles, California, United States, on June 26, 1946, at the age of 64. |
