An American actress, director, and playwright. She was born in Sacramento, California, USA. She earned a BA in English Literature from Hunter College in New York. During her studies, she worked as a model and appeared on the covers of magazines around the world. She was awarded a scholarship to study theater after graduating. She has acted in numerous productions, most notably, Cold Wallet (2024), The X-Files (2020), and Outbreak (1995). She directed the short film Sweet Nothings (2016) and several theatrical productions. She married director Robert H. Egan in 2001.
