He was an American actor and writer, born on March 27, 1925, in Seagraves, Texas, USA. He was a football player and athlete at the University of Colorado, where he studied. He served in the US Navy during World War II for three years, and on television, he played starring roles in several series. He is known for The Night the World Exploded (1957), The Horse Soldiers (1959), and Damon Runyon Theater (1955). He was married to Marjorie Wilson, with whom he had two children. He died at the age of 80 on December 19, 2005, in Apple Valley, California, USA.
