A Moroccan-French director and screenwriter, who grew up in Rabat, Morocco, and moved to Paris at the age of eighteen to study philosophy. She then joined the La Fémis (École nationale supérieure des métiers de l'image et du son) in Paris, France. She wrote two books about Morocco and produced podcasts about Alice Guy, the first female director in history. She's known for Queens (2022), L'heure d'hiver (2018) and Fraya (2022).
