Shaimaa Saied |
An Australian prolific actor, born in Sydney, Australia. He played supporting and minor roles in American cinema and television. He was an articled law clerk who served with the Australian Infantry Force in World War I. After the war, he participated in the trials of Australian soldiers who were illegally absent. Then he immigrated to the United States to work in cinema until he obtained American citizenship. Among his notable works are The Big Sleep (1946), All About Eve (1950) and Inherit the Wind (1960). He died in Woodland Hills, Los Angeles, California, USA on May 5, 1965, at age 72. |
