An American engineer at NASA, born in Tennessee, United States. He obtained a bachelor’s degree in physics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, in addition to a master’s degree in engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles. He served as an LTJG on the US Navy aircraft carriers Essex and Independence, and he also led the design for several space missions. In addition to his work at NASA, he is an author, game developer, and lecturer. He's known for The Farthest (2017).
