She's known for Burke’s Law (1963), Fantastic Voyage (1966) and Batman (1966). She left acting to focus with her husband on charity work, sponsoring children’s heart operations. She was married twice and had two children. She died of a brain aneurysm in Westlake Village, California, on June 25, 2011, at age 74.
