An American model and actress, born in Chicago, Illinois. She was Playboy's Playmate of the Month for July 1958, and the first Playmate to die. She worked in a postcard factory in Chicago as a teenager, then worked in modeling and film and television acting until her sudden death from cancer. Among her notable works are Beast from Haunted Cave (1959), Living Venus (1961), and Highway Patrol (1957-1958). She got married in 1965 and had no children. She died in Pasadena, California, on January 18, 1967.
