An American actress and songwriter, born in New York, USA. She wrote many songs for Elvis Presley and wrote many musical plays. She founded the Los Angeles Film Critics Association in 1975 and served as its president and CEO for three years. She also worked as a correspondent for a television channel and a film critic for the radio. Her notable works include Kid Galahad (1962), Girls! Girls! Girls! (1962), and The Love Machine (1971). She died in Miami, Florida, USA, on July 23, 1992, at the age of 58.
