An American actor, born in Cincinnati, Ohio, USA. He appeared in many films during the thirties, and his biggest opportunity was through the big-budget Western films of the forties, where he was used in rough scenes. He participated in To Kill a Mockingbird (1962), Spartacus (1960), and Inherit the Wind (1960). He died at the age of 80 on November 30, 1978, in Los Angeles, California, USA.
