British actor, born in Southampton, Hampshire, England, United Kingdom. Among his most important works are The Kentucky Fried Movie (1977), The Monkey’s Paw (1948), and The Lampstill Burns (1943). Eric provided supporting roles in film and television as a soldier, officer, reporter, porter, and sergeant. He died in Chatham, Columbia, New York, USA, at the age of 91.
