An Irish actor, born in Dublin, Ireland, United Kingdom. He began his artistic activity in the local theatre, and in the mid-thirties, he began appearing in British films and provided supporting and additional roles such as a soldier, police officer, guard, gang leader, witness, reporter, driver, party guest, and postman. Among his most important works are The Alcoa Hour (1955), Pimpernel Smith (1941), General John Reagan (1938), and Blanche Fury (1948). His activity stopped in England at the end of the 1940s, he immigrated to the United States and returned to appear in cinema and television in America in the second half of the 1950s until the beginning of the 1960s. He died in New York, USA, on January 1, 1963, at the age of 68.
