German actress, born in Berlin, Germany. She is the daughter of the politician Otto Schily, the painter Christiane Schily and the granddaughter of the architect Bruno Taut. She started studying political ideologies, then dropped out after two semesters, then went to study acting at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin. She participated in many works, such as The Legend of Rita (2000) and Nora (2003).
