British actor, born in Lewes, Sussex, England, United Kingdom. Among his most important works are Tarzan the Tiger (1929), The Hot Scots (1948), Gunga Din (1939), and Booloo (1939). He appeared in the American cinema and provided additional roles such as reporter, clerk, court clerk, secretary, officer, salesman, dresser, gambler, tourist, renter, sergeant, and radio announcer. Clive died in Santa Monica, California, USA, on September 14, 1984, at the age of 87.
