French actor and writer in cinema and television, born in Pontarlier, Doubs, France. Among his most important works are La princesses du rail (1967), Les femmes d'abord (1963), La cage (1963), and Rififi (1955). He died in Neuilly-sur-Seine, France, on July 1, 2004 at the age of 79.
