A German actress, born in Ostalbaekreis, Germany. She married twice and had one child. She began her career on stage and later appeared in musical films and played starring roles in Nazi propaganda films during the Third Reich period that coincided with World War II. She described herself during that period as being "Hitler's Mickey Mouse". Ingeborg moved to the United Kingdom following Germany’s defeat in the war and appeared in some British productions, such as Women of Twilight (1952), Port of Escape (1956), and Across the Bridge (1957). She died in the United Kingdom.
