• A Brazilian actress and singer, born in São Paulo, Brazil. She studied law at the University of São Paulo. She wanted to become a lawyer like her father, but her love for art...Read more pushed her to become a singer and theater actress, after which she began her artistic life by working as a soprano. She also sang Brazilian folk songs and participated in several artistic productions in Brazil on stage, television, and cinema. Then, she traveled to France with a theater group and performed for two years. She also spent fifteen years in England, worked in the Arts Theatre in London, and appeared on British television. She then returned to Brazil in the early seventies, to resume her theatrical work again. She also taught performing arts at the Houston School of Art & Design in Texas, United States, and sang at the White House in front of US President Franklin Roosevelt. Her works include Why Bother to Knock (1961) and Doctor Who (1967). She died in Brazil.
