A British actress, born in Perth, Scotland. She is the daughter of a Tamil Indian family who worked in the medical field. Her parents separated when she was two years old, and she left for India with her father, where she stayed with her grandparents in Tamil Nadu, India. Upon returning to the United Kingdom at the age of four, she went to school in Liverpool before settling with her mother in Oxford during her teenage years, while her father lived in Wales. She graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from New College, Oxford in 2019, where she appeared in several productions during her undergraduate studies and joined the National Youth Theatre. After graduating, she had the opportunity to work in television, starring in the second season of Alex Rider (2021). She then went on to appear in Bridgerton (2020), The Parables Retold (2022), and How to Date Billy Walsh (2024).
