“Sukkar Hanim” At the Top of Eid Box Office Returns

Cinemas and theaters across downtown Cairo have hosted greater numbers of audiences (youths and families) with the coming of the Eid holiday. The theatrical production “Sukkar Hanem” has been the highest grossing show so far with returns at around 300 thousand Egyptian pounds, surpassing those of any cinema production. The play includes performances by Tal’at Zakariyeh, Ahmad Rezk, Amr Al Hariry, Lubna A’bd Al A’ziz and Edward. The screenplay for the production was written by Abu Al Sa’oud Al Abiary and the title was directed by Ashraf Zaky.
