It would seem as though the series of crises faced by composer Mohamed Raheem will not end in the near future. Following a row that occurred due to his use of a tune that had already been performed by artist Shereen Wagdy in a song for Nancy A’gram, Mohamed has become involved in another crisis – this time with fellow artist Amr Diab. Thus, Mohamed has attacked Amr Diab and accused him of performing “Al Lei Beini wa Beinak”, sung by Janat, without receiving a go-ahead from Mohamed as the song’s original composer. Mohamed states that he was shocked to hear Amr Diab performing the same song, this time titled “Biqadam Qalby” with the composition credited to Amr Mustafa. Raheem has also stated that 60% of the composition is his work and that the song’s writer Ayman Bahgat Qamar knows this.
