Mickey Rourke Portrays a Professional Hit man in a New Title about the Mafia

Mickey Rourke is taking part in a new production titled “The Ice Man: Confession of a Mafia Contract Killer” in which he will assume the role of a professional mafia hit man.“Hollywood Reporter” magazine has reported that the picture is an adaptation of a novel by Philip Carlo that tells the true story of Richard Kuklinski, “The Ice Man”, who spent more than 40 years living a double life as a professional hit man on one side, and as a loving family man in a New Jersey suburb on the other. The film’s producer, Maty Bakerman, has stated that Kulinski’s life and Carlo’s book - which took three years to put together - are different from anything that has been presented in a cinema work before. He also added that Mickey Rourke was born to play that role.Mickey Rourke has recently shared a leading role with Sylvester Stallone in the thrilling action picture “The Expendables”.
