Actor Ahmed Helmy has settled on the name “Bulbul Al Heiran” for his new film after he had announced earlier that he would go with the name “Sab’ Al Barmaba”. Helmy believes that “Bulbul Al Heiran” is better suited to the character that he portrays – a character who finds himself in quite a bind after falling in love with two girls at the same time. The confusion caused by this dilemma pushes the protagonist into personal crisis thus causing him to seek the help of a psychiatrist. With regards to the recent change of title, the films writer Khaled Diab has asserted that the change is not a ruse designed to promote the film – particularly since Helmy had changed the title of his previous film, “A’ssal Aswad” (“Black Honey”) more than once. To this effect Diab has clarified: “The new title is better fitting and the change was made on the basis of artistic requirements rather than for promotion purposes as some have come to believe.” Diab has also said: “Moreover, if an even better name comes up while shooting the film, we would adopt that too seeing as the title of a film has become an integral element of a production’s success.”
