Hassan Housny, Rather than E’zzat Al A’layly, to Partake in “Sammara”

The screenplay and dialogue for “Sammara” are credited to Mostafa Moharram. The production features the performances of Ghada A’bd Al Razeq, Lucy, A’mr Al Hariry, Mohamed Lotfy, Yasser Galal, Ahmed Wafiq, Sabry Fawaz, Samy Al A’dl and A’bd Al Rahman Abu Zahra. Mohamed Al Naqly assumes directing duties. Following E’zzat Al A’layly decision to leave the set of the television series “Sammara”, actor Hassan Housny has been contracted to replace him. The series depicts events that take place in a populist neighborhood during the 1940s and centers on a young woman named “Sammara” who deals drugs and becomes a leader of a gang. In order to realize her ends, “Sammara” makes use of her stunning beauty. Hassan Housny assumes the role of Al Mu’alim Sultan who gets involved romantically with Sammara and ends up marrying her. It is expected that filming will commence next Saturday at the Media Production City.
