“Tron” Tops the US Box Office

The remaining slots in the American box office top ten list went to the following titles respectively: “Tangled” secured sixth place with 8.67 million dollars in sales and “Black Swan” came in seventh with 8.3 million dollars in ticket sales. Eighth place went to “How Do You Know” which earned 7.6 million dollars at the box office whilst “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” achieved ninth place with 4.84 million dollars in sales and finally “Unstoppable” achieved 10th place with 1.8 million dollars earned at the box office.American title “Tron” has topped box office sales in that country. Website “Box Office Mojo” has noted that “Tron”, which stars Jeff Bridges, has secured first place with sales estimated at around 43.6 million dollars putting it ahead of the animated production “Yogi Bear” which came in second with sales at around 16.5 million dollars. In the meantime “Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader” has retreated from first to third place in the box office with sales at around 12.4 million dollars. Biographical sports film “The Fighter” came in fourth with 12.2 million dollars in ticket sales while “The Tourist” secured fifth place with 8.7 million dollars earned at the box office.
