The First Image Emerges of Carol Samaha Assuming the Role of “Al Shahroura”

“I will not copy nor will I imitate the character of Sabah in the production “Al Shahroura”. I will attempt simply to portray the character of Janet Faghaly, a girl from the town of Wadi Shahrour in Lebanon, who dreamt of stardom until she finally became the Arab music legend Sabah.”With that announcement, artist Carol Samaha announced the commencement of a workshop that will continue for six months. Carol continued by saying: “The series will shed light on previously unknown aspects of Sabah’s life whom the public knew nothing about, nor do they know anything about the internal suffering she underwent as a woman.”Throughout the production of this series, Carol Samaha will act alongside more than 100 TV stars from Egypt, Lebanon and the Gulf. Filming is set to commence on the first week of January as part of a dense schedule which includes numerous filming locations in Egypt, Lebanon and France.
