Performer Ghada A’bd Al Razeq has confirmed that her latest title “Bonne Soiree” does not contain any sexually explicit or suggestive scenes, contrary to rumors which circulated before the work’s premier. Ghada further added that the film’s audience was mostly composed of children, veiled women and families in general and that that is because the production is intended for families and does not contain content which could offend them.Ghada also added, sarcastically, that she apologizes to the critics who attacked the film prior to its premier. This is because when those said critics finally watched the film they found that it did not contain what they had earlier referred to in terms of nudity and crass expressions and thus could not attack Ghada. With regards to the song “Al Hannis fee Al Dance”, which some critics have suggested refers to sex, Ghada has said that “Al Hannis” simply means being cool, while “Al Dannis” is “dance” in English. Thus what was intended was “Al Rawshana fee Al Raqs”, or, “Dancing in a cool way”. Ghada added that the song does not contain any sexual references or incidences of base morality. “Bonne Soiree” stars Ghada A’bd Al Razeq, May Kassab, Marwa, Hassan Housny, Tal’aat Zakariyeh and Nahla Zaky. The screenplay is credited to Mahmoud Abou Zeid. Ahmed A’waad directed the work while Mohamed Al Sobby produced it.
