Nancy A’gram Sings the Opening to TV series “Sammara”

After having previously sung the opening to TV production “Ibn al-Arnadly” which starred Yahya al-Fakhrany in the Ramadan before last, Lebanese musician Nancy A’gram has decided to repeat the experience and to sing the opening to Ghada A’bd Al Razeq’s new television series “Sammara”.Producer E’ssam Sha’ban – who is producing “Sammara” – has sent the lyrics to the opening which were composed by the poet Hussein Mostafa Muhharam to A’gram in Lebanon two weeks ago. In a phone call, Nancy has accepted the offer to sing the opening to the TV series which is scheduled to air over Ramadan 2011. The production will retain the same composer who had previously provided the musical score.“Sammara” utilizes a screenplay and dialogue that were authored by Mostafa Muhharam. The production is directed by Mohamed al-Naqly and features the talents of Ghada A’bd Al Razeq, Lucy, Mohamed Lotfy, Yasser Galal, Sabry Fawaz, Sammy al-A’dl, Zakky Fattein A’bd Al Wahab and Rabab Tareq.
