Hend Sabry’s “Asmaa” in Theaters Soon

Director ‘Amr Salama, who wrote and directed the recent title “Asmaa” which stars Hend Sabry, has announced that the cinema title is in the post-production editing phase and should be ready for cinemas soon. In her role in the title Hend portrays a women afflicted with AIDS. Refusing to fall victim to the disease the heroine tries to find a way to live with the illness and stave off its symptoms. Miraculously, she succeeds. Maged al-Kadwany, Hany A’del and Ahmed Kamal also feature in the production.Worthy of note is that “Asmaa” is the second collaboration between producer Mohamed Hafzy and A’mr Salama. The pair had collaborated previously on the title “Zayy al-Nahhar da” (“Much Like Today”) which had featured the talents of Ahmed al-Fishawwy, Bassma, Asser Yaseen, Arwa Gawdah and Nabeel E’issa. The title was produced by the Film Clinic company.Hend Sabry’s latest work was “Ibrahim al-Abbyad” where she appeared alongside Mahmoud A’bd Al A’ziz, Ahmed el-Sekka and Sawsan Badr. The title was directed by Marwan Hamed and utilized a screenplay authored by A’bbass Abou al-Hassan. The Good News company produced the title.
